I ran the bike over 10,000 quarter mile passes. I completely fine tuned what Kawasaki started. My bike dynoed 230 horse at the tire was just over 450 lbs without rider. It ran consistent low to mid 10's for over 15 years. I once snapped a drive shaft catching 4 gear on a pass one afternoon. The durability of the engine is legend. The ease of maintenance and simple design exceeds many bike of the day. I loved riding with a bunch of GIXXERS and grabbing a handful of throttle and leaving them behind. i regret ever selling the bike. I'm looking for another.
