Since the James Sports Captain circa ’61-’62 is my design inspiration for this bike, I ordered a tattered copy of The Motor Cycle from England that had a news article from the Sports Captain’s introduction. I was disappointed to find it lacked any of the hard specs I was hoping to find, such as weight, length, or seat height. It’s still a nice artifact to have.
