The motor has been sitting in a crate ever since it returned from the West Coast back in late January, while I’ve been devoting my attention to The Bride. However, my friend Bill Wilson’s annual 2-stroke bike show is coming up on Saturday, so I took the opportunity to bolt all the pieces of Bultakenstein together and roll it out into the driveway — the first time it has seen the light of day in well over two years. I’ll haul it over to the show and hopefully get some motivation to get back on this and finish it, although looking at it now, I realize how comparatively little fabrication knowledge I had when I began this project, 12 years ago.
