I managed to do a little something: alloy spacers to center the rear shock mount. Unfortunately, I might re-do them. Didn’t cut them perfectly straight with the hacksaw, so by the time I filed them down so the faces were square, they ended up slightly too short in width. You can see the slight gap on the left side of the shock eye. Also, when I drilled the center hole in the spacer on the left, my cheap drill press deflected slightly, and it’s not perfectly centered.
This evening, I’m going to see about joining a local workshop cooperative that has a lathe, which could help me immensely.
