Here’s the swingarm pivot, completed! The rear engine bosses will attach to these crosstubes; if you look carefully at either end, you can see the rubber mounting blocks Suzuki used on their two-stroke GT triples. Yes, the rear of the engine will be rubber-mounted. For now, the tubes are just mocked up out of galvanized stuff I had around the shop; the actual engine mounts will come later. Right now, I am going to concentrate on getting the rear wheel aligned and mounted in the swingarm. Fortunately, the rear of the swingarm is positioned symmetrically from the centerline of the bike, so that will simplify getting the wheel properly centered.
