I was able to knock out my shock mounts and still deliver the frame to my friendly neighborhood welder yesterday. He didn’t see anything noticeably jinky about my design or or problematic with my fabrication prep work. He expects to have it welded up by early next week. It’s been nearly 2 years since I took the plunge and hacked off the back of the frame. It feels good to be making some noticeable progress on this.
