Once the Benelli was out of the frame jig, it was time for El Fènix to take its place.

I had previously eyeballed a guess that the swingarm might need to be hard against the left side of the frame to get the rear wheel aligned. Instead, I was pleased to find that it only had to be offset by seven millimeters, with plenty of room to spare.

A couple of spacers and everything lined up nicely.

It’s not completely buttoned up yet. The only 16mm swingarm pivot bolt I have on hand is just a bit too short to go all the way through the frame and take a nut on the end. So, I bought one from a Yamaha FZ6R off Ebay that should, according to my research, be the diameter and approximate length I need. It’s expected to arrive within a week, so I’ll find out soon enough.
