I got the sprocket carrier drilled, as accurately as I could, then bolted it up, and temporarily mounted the chain to see what I had.
Fortunately, there were no rude surprises, and everything seems in order.
I’m happy at the progress lately. At this rate, the lack of a functional engine is going to start being somewhat conspicuous.
