I’m in another of those cascading-needs situations: I need to get the frame welded up to continue, but I have to figure out where my shock mounts will be in order to weld the frame, which requires me to know exactly what damper unit(s) I will use. [I still haven’t fully committed to either the original monoshock YZ swingarm, or the twin shock DT swingarm.]
After seven years of more-or-less random suspension purchases – everything from mouse to Great Dane – not one of them is really suitable for this project, either as a mono or twin shock setup.
