I’m starting to mock up my exhaust. I’m using the chamber belly section from an old RD 350 pipe. That’s on the small side (both diameter and volume) for a 360, but I want to have a wide, mild-mannered power profile, not a sudden jump to warp speed when it comes on the pipe. And yes, that head tube looks really long, but again, I am going for low-RPM torque. And, it’s really not too much different than what Bultaco put on the Frontera engine originally.
Besides, at this point I am focused on getting it running. If it ends up needing a more scientifically developed pipe later, so be it.
